Our AYSO Region 6 Playground program is for 3 year-olds! 

AYSO Playground is a pre-soccer, adventure/exploration program for 3 year-olds introducing fundamental motor skills in collaboration with parents & guardians, using soccer as a common thread. 

Parent participation is a must!  

This is NOT a mini World Cup experience.  Don’t expect 45 minutes of soccer games. Our coaches lead sessions that create a fun, parent participatory atmosphere utilizing age appropriate activities. The program is designed for you to drop in and out without stress. This should be a fun activity for both parents and players.

All participants must be 3 years of age before they can enroll in the Playground soccer program.

Season length:
Our Playground program runs in the Fall for 8 weeks (Saturdays only). There is no weekday practice. 

Session length:
45 mins on average 

Team Structure: 
Jamboree style - teams are formed on a weekly basis depending on how many players attend a given session
One with one play - refers to the concept that each player will have a parent (or other adult) working with them on the field.

Player Uniform and Equipment: Jersey, Shorts, Socks are provided by the the Region with your registration fee. Shoes and shin guards, covered by socks are mandatory at all games. Soccer cleats are highly recommended.
